What has been one of the best ways to market your company that gets you the results you want?

Russell Brunson
Owner of DotCom Secrets - www.dotcomsecrets.com

We spend a lot of time learning exactly who our target customers are. As soon as we’ve identified who our customers are, we then find out where they congregate online. The best thing about the Internet is that people group together based on similar likes and values. So everyone interested in yoga congregates on yoga sites, real estate investors congregate on most of my projects take a broader marketing position. For example, as opposed to speaking to a small group of people, I tend to speak in front of larger audiences – one action, more opportunity. Lastly, I have found the Internet to be a great place to gain exposure. As opposed to having a static Web site, I create sites that are more interactive and invite comments.

Fred Rewey
CEO of Diversified Investment Services - www.notesellerblog.com

The absolute best way to market any business is to learn how to effectively sell and persuade. Most in business do not know how to do this in their copywriting, one-on-one sales presentations or in front of a group. They market features of their products and services, rather than marketing the benefits (outcomes) prospects and customers will gain from using their real estate sites (and so on...) After we’ve identified who our target market it, and where they congregate, then we simply focus on parasite marketing. Figuring out how to buy ads, banners, email ads on those sites and get the visitors from their sites to come back to our sites. It’s much easier to borrow traffic from sites that already have it then to try to create it from scratch. spend a lot of time learning exactly who our target customers are. Jerry Phlippeau
CEO and President of Flipo -- www.flipo.com

Honestly before 9/11 it was tradeshows. After 9/11, and now especially during this recession we are in, trade shows are not what I suggest. I now target larger retailers that can purchase large volumes of my products. I contact them, make an appointment and build a strong relationship. The art of the "relationship" in business is the best chance in this current economy to get results.
